VARENTE is a New Delhi-based product design, sourcing and procurement company led by a European product & interior designer and supported by an international team.
India is the heart of our work: our network includes more than 500 specialized factories across its major production regions such as Moradabad, Noida, Panipat, Chennai, and Mumbai, complemented by manufacturing partners in China, Vietnam, Thailand and the Philippines. We oversee production of premium, luxury and ultra-luxury furniture, home décor products and bespoke interior features.
VARENTE draws VAR from Varanasi and ENTE from Occidente, the Italian word for West. The name expresses what we do: connect people with different perspectives, markets and ways of working, then turn that connection into something tangible.
For our clients, the connection is practical. We listen to the need behind a brief, develop a creative and practical response, speak directly with makers and manage details that are difficult to oversee from a distance. We remain accountable for clear communication throughout our agreed scope.

As your representative with the manufacturer, we coordinate the complete journey within the agreed scope: design, prototyping, supplier selection, production supervision, quality control by our own inspection team, logistics and after-sales support. Our role is to carry the brief through every stage and ensure that the finished product meets the approved specifications and requirements of its destination market.

PRODUCT DESIGN
We create design concepts in response to a client's requirements, developing form, function, materials, finishes and trends in the market. The deliverables, number of design rounds, authorship and usage rights are agreed at the outset.
COLLECTION DEVELOPMENT
We can shape a coherent range across product types, materials, finishes and target price points, then coordinate its development with appropriate manufacturers. The design scope and any specialist collaborators are defined in each engagement.
BESPOKE FURNITURE
We develop the piece around the required dimensions, function, materials and finishes, then coordinate prototyping and production with a suitable specialist manufacturer. Our team oversees the details and quality checks so the finished furniture follows the approved design and fits its intended space.
SOURCING
We identify manufacturers based on the product, material, quality expectations, production capacity and commercial requirements of the brief. Factory visits and assessments are scoped to the project.
PROCUREMENT & PRODUCTION MANAGEMENT
We coordinate quotations, specifications, approvals, supplier communication and production follow-up, giving your team a clear view of decisions and progress.
QUALITY CONTROL / INSPECTION
We agree checkpoints appropriate to the product and order, coordinate sample reviews and inspections, document findings and follow up on required corrections. The inspection method and acceptance criteria are set before production. We have our own discreet and meticulous inspection team.
LOCAL CLIENT REPRESENTATION
This is the thread running through all our services. We communicate and follow up with manufacturers on your behalf, surface problems early and bring decisions back to you with context.

MEET THE FOUNDER
Joanna Kusnierz is the founder of VARENTE, a product & interior designer and international project manager. A graduate of Istituto Marangoni Milano, she brings more than a decade of experience across India and the Middle East to the design and production of distinctive products.
Joanna’s strength lies in bringing contemporary design together with heritage craftsmanship. Having visited more than 1,000 factories, she understands the materials, techniques and production decisions that determine a product’s quality. She has built lasting relationships with specialist manufacturers and knows how to match their capabilities to each client’s brief.
Joanna personally supervises every project. She brings a European approach to design, cooperation values and production oversight, protects the confidentiality of client information, Her role is to keep the client’s vision, the maker’s expertise and the practical demands of production aligned from the first conversation onward.
